History
John Haslag started off as a tool sharpener when he realized the growing demand for
steel in his hometown of Washington, Missouri. In August 1983 he founded Haslag Steel Sales along with his wife Theola, and one other worker. Soon his two children, Kevin and
Joan, joined them and the business continued
to grow. They began in steel retail and moved into steel fabrication serving the greater St. Louis area. Now, Haslag Steel Sales, Inc. is a third generation family business that does work all across the United States and it continues to expand its empire.
